Myumee Dolls Made By Sean Tataryn

Sean made himself known to me and I took a look at his site and his dolls. All I could say was "WOW"!! They are the coolest looking little creatures and the fact the he makes them all by hand is outstanding, craftsmanship of any kind is so hard to find in the computer age. So, I want to share with you, Sean Tataryn and his Myumee Dolls. Here you'll find some of my favorties like Marilyn Manson, Elvira and others.

About The Artist
Raised in the Canadian Praries, Sean Tataryn was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on July 1, (Canada Day) 1972. At age nine Sean's earlier "Myumee" characters were showcased in several spots around town, peaking the interest and coverage of local newspaper, and radio stations. By age twelve he was hired to sell many of, and teach others in classes on how to create their own version of his earlier created "Myumee" characters, which at that time he affectionately called "Bubble Babies." At age sixteen Sean took off to live in Montreal, Quebec for a few years where he picked up both film, and television credits. He continued to add to his family of characters in
Montreal, and then down the road to his new home in Toronto,Ontario.

Although, endlessly eager for change and expansion Sean soon found himself heading to Los Angeles, California where he began to explore his writing, which led to completing his first script. After spending time in New York, Texas and back in Los Angeles Sean's characters had also reached a first of their own with an introduction to the UK through a featured article in popular UK
magazine, NW. Sean continued to pick up more film credits and media attention after landing a lead role in a featured length independent film. In population, Sean's hand made, hand painted, hand sewn "Myumees" had surpassed the Two Hundread mark of creations he had one time hoped for. After a few years in the jungles of Hollywood, Sean began to crave the serenity and peace of home back in Canada. Sean currently resides in Vancouver, BC, and after a growing response to his "Myumee" characters is now looking into the process of mass production.
